Jay received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and spent three years as a distribution engineer for Florida Power and Light.
In 1991, Jay began his career in the flooring and residential housing industry by joining Tuftex Carpet. He spent twelve years with them in Southern California in various roles, including Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing. From 1995 forward, Jay had nationwide responsibility for Tuftex’s builder channel with responsibilities including leading the builder specialist sales team, selling national builder accounts, and leading all marketing efforts. In 2003, Jay joined The Home Depot as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Creative Touch Interiors business group. His responsibilities with Creative Touch Interiors included leading builder sales, design center sales and marketing for an enterprise that serviced 38 markets across 15 states.
Jay joined DCS Partnership Group™ as a partner and the Vice President of Sales and Marketing in August, 2006 and continues in that role today. DCS Partnership Group™ goes to market in the residential housing market under the brand Bridgeway Interactive™ and the retail flooring industry under the brand Creating Your Space™. During his tenure, the customer base for the DCS Partnership Group™ businesses has grown each year, and they are recognized as a leader in online marketing for both residential housing and flooring retail markets.Register
