He has facilitated and moderated sales meetings and CEO conferences as diverse as Mandarin Oriental, Bertram Yachts and Domestic Estate Managers Association to Steinway and Seatrade Cruise Global. He is one of the most quoted independent authorities in the luxury segment as a regular contributor to Luxury Daily. Ramey sits on the BrainTrust Panel for Retailwire.com and has earned the “Leadership–Top 5%” appellation from Gerson Lehrman Group for his work with private equity firms investing in the design, construction and luxury industries.

Ramey began his professional career at Macy’s when he was recruited into their Executive Management Training Program for new college graduates. He started his first multimillion-dollar floor covering business when he was 28 years old. At 40 he joined CCA Global Partners in the buying department and quickly rose to divisional president for two brands and corporate SVP. At 50 Ramey became president of The Luxury Marketing Council Miami and The Luxury Marketing Council Palm Beach where he founded and built the second largest chapter in the organization.
Ramey and his wife reside in Palm Beach County, Florida and they have two grown children. Ramey is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
