Chicago – Soft flooring is getting more of what it loves most: floor space.

The latest trade show to join the circuit, Domotex USA is presenting its inaugural event in Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center from Feb. 28 to March 3. Domotex USA is the latest extension of Hanover, Germany-based floor coverings show Domotex, held annually every January and which this year marks its 30th anniversary.

All of its exhibit space is now sold out, Domotex USA will feature an array of flooring companies across its dedicated 90,000 square feet. Of the exhibitor list, 40% comprises hard surface product suppliers and 40% soft flooring, with the balance made up of luxury vinyl tile and other flooring product suppliers.

The soft flooring includes an almost even mix of domestic and international suppliers – 55% and 45%, respectively. The target audience includes retailers, remodelers, contractors, designers and architects, Raymond Bianchi, vice president of events & business development at show organizer Hannover Fairs USA (HFUSA), told HTT.

“We are excited for this opportunity and looking forward to the exposure to new products and possibilities,” Dave Snedeker, evp, Tampa Bay area-based Bob’s Carpet & Flooring, told HTT. Snedeker also serves as president of the National Flooring Alliance and as a member of the Domotex USA 2019 attendee advisory board.
